Today, more than ever, it is essential and urgent to encourage dialogue between the Israeli and Palestinian people and their communities. It is by developing projects together that we will be able to get to know each other. It is, in fact, by getting to know each other, in exchange and cooperation, that we will be able to resolve conflict and advance towards reconciliation. All reconciliation, is achieved not only through tolerance, but more than anything through the respect of others and their differences. For 60 years now, Europe has shown us how mutual consideration and collaboration can promote peace . It IS possible.
